Howard Lake | 18 May 2005 | News

Activedition has won the contract to supply its content management system to Age Concern to help manage its intranet and extranet sites.

As well as standard web content management tasks, the content management system (CMS) will shortly allow staff at branch level to contribute content to the sites.

Activedition is already used by charities and nonprofit organisations such as Samaritans, Blue Cross, NHS Scotland, British Cycling, and Church Army. It is also used by several local authorities.

John Brown, project manager at Age Concern, said: “in terms of look and feel and usability the system does everything we want and more. Activedition has also helped us incorporate administration facilities into the intranet to enable us to arrange meetings and book rooms more efficiently.”

The Dundee-based company that created Activedition has recently opened a London office to service clients in the City and South of England.
