Action Medical Research appeals via BBC Lifeline
On Sunday 22 May and Wednesday 25 May 2005, the BBC’s Lifeline Appeal series will focus on Action Medical Research’s Touching Tiny Lives campaign which aims to raise £3 million to pay for research into premature birth, pregnancy complications and better treatments for vulnerable babies.
Actress Fay Ripley will be fronting the appeal.
Having been chosen by the BBC to feature in the appeal, the charity is drafting in volunteers to staff the telephones at the BBC’s call handling centre in Glasgow.
