AltaContact offers "50% reduction" in online sponsorship page costs

Online fundraising and marketing specialists AltaContact are launching a promotion for their online giving platform that “could slash 50% off online fundraising costs.”
The Bedford-based company provides own-branded sponsorship pages for charities, ensures that donors’ money is paid directly into charities’ bank accounts, and does not take commission from the Gift Aid element of donations.
The company’s current clients include Kidney Research UK and The Anthony Nolan Trust.
The company’s current promotion focuses on the London Marathon, one of the main sources of online sponsorship income for many charities. Those charities registering with AltaContact before 4 November will enjoy a “25p charge per transaction +VAT for the period 1st February to 30th April 2009”, the period of most Marathon fundraising activity.
