Richard Evans Affinity Services announce series of seminars for fundraisers

NCVO-Approved Consultants Richard Evans Affinity Services are running a series of seminars for fundraisers on prospect research, capital appeals and fundraising from grant-making trusts.

The first course, ‘An Introduction to Prospect Research’, takes place on 24 May 2005 in the afternoon. Facilitator Finbar Cullen will explain how to research and engage individuals, companies and grant-making trusts; tell you what resources you need, including which free ones are available; and show you how to produce a profile of possible prospects.

In ‘Making Applications to UK Trusts and Foundations’ on 28 June, Victoria Ireland will explain how to research trusts and foundations, match your projects to the right funders, and help you decide if your organisation/project is suitable for funding. She will also explain the key ingredients for high scoring applications.

In ‘Introduction to Capital Campaigns’ on 26 July, Sue Barber will explain the five key
phases of a capital campaign, how to begin to plan a campaign, and how to ensure your campaign is successful.

All courses last from 12.30pm to 4.15pm and take place in Chipperfield, Hertfordshire, which is three miles from M25 junction 20. They each cost £65 + VAT.
