Charity software specialists, Fisk Brett, are running their data protection seminar for the fourth year running.
Examining the legislation surrounding data protection and privacy Fisk Brett say they aim to cut through the jargon and explain what the guidelines are, how charities can comply, and what constitutes good practice.
In particular the company will be looking in-depth at the 1998 Data Protection Act, the preference services, and the EU Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications.
The seminar is designed for those involved with, or responsible for, supporter acquisition or development; processing or storing data; and marketing and communication.
The seminar will be held on 17 May and again on 24 May at the Intellect offices in Russell Square, London. Each will run from 11.00 – 14.00.
The cost is £95, which includes lunch and refreshments.
