Community Channel highlights charity champions

The Community Channel is this week screening ‘Charity Champions’ a six part series produced with the BBC in which Sarah Falkland introduces stories of outstanding individuals and charitable organisations working for various good causes across the country.
Charity Champions features policemen collecting wedding dresses on behalf of Russian orphanages and a woman who overcame her arthritis to trek around the world, together with other people who donate their time and effort for a variety of charitable causes.
The series is broadcast at 7.30am and 7.30pm every day this week.
