National Trust launch new affinity credit card

Howard Lake | 18 March 2005 | News

The National Trust, in association with MBNA Europe Ltd. has launched the new National Trust MasterCard, which aims to raise more than £2 million in five years for its continuing conservation work.

The Trust will receive £15 from the first transaction made after the opening of a new account, 30 pence for every £100 spent and £2 annually for every card which remains active.

The decision to go into partnership with MBNA was taken following a tendering process to find the best deal for both the Trust and its members and supporters.
