Funds were raised in a variety of ways. Ten pence was donated from all Internet bookings taken on www.thrifty.co.uk and five pence for all corporate bookings during 2004, raising £5,637 for the charity.

Senior staff, including the Managing Director Robert Burton, ran in the Flora London Marathon on 18 April 2004, each of them raising £1,500. They all went on to complete the New York Marathon on 7 November 2004 raising a further £9,500 for the charity.

Other fundraising activities across the Dollar Thrifty network included a raffle held at the Dollar Thrifty Annual Convention in November where over £2,200 was raised.
