New dedicated office space for charities opened in Kensington

Following its success with 89 Albert Embankment, home to more than 40 charities, Charity Logistics has opened a second charity centre on Kensington High Street in London.

The building was officially opened on Tuesday 1 March by Jitinder Kohli, Head of the Active Communities Unit.

Nine organisations have already relocated to Charity Centre at Charles House.

Leases are available until June 2010 without review and shorter flexible leases are available by arrangement. The smallest self-contained office is 265 sq. ft. and the largest single unit available is 10,000 sq. ft.

On site facilities include a cafe, gym and sports hall. Amenities include 24 hour, 7 day a week access; gas-fired central heating; automatic passenger lifts; car parking available on site; bicycle stands; perimeter trunking; broadband access and IT cabling. The 100-seater auditorium can be hired on a pay-as-you-use basis, as can the hot-desks for visitors.

The resource centre, staffed by Charity Logistics personnel comes equipped with TV, DVD and overhead projectors. It offers conference facilities, meeting rooms, IT advice, computer hosting, photocopying and fax facilities.
