Givingineurope.org offers cross-border European giving resource

The King Baudouin Foundation, a leading European foundation based in Brussels, has announced the launch of a new website providing information for donors, intermediaries and beneficiaries on the legal and fiscal aspects involved in a cross-border philanthropic transaction.

The site, www.givingineurope.org will allow a donor, a professional advisor or a fundraiser to have direct access to possible solutions to cross-border transactions, including legal and fiscal information, tax, relief or exemptions.

This website was realised with the collaboration of the CNUE (Conférence des Notariats de l’Union Européenne), of the EFC (European Foundation Centre) and of national fiscal and legal specialists. The information will be regularly updated and will be extended to the ten new European Union countries.
