Aslib goes into voluntary liquidation

Howard Lake | 1 February 2005 | News

Aslib, the charitable “association for information management”, is now in voluntary liquidation, and has debts reported to be over £830,000.

The charity published a number of resources of use to fundraising researchers: its website alone offered a range of useful links to help locate information on companies, industries, regions, or individuals. Fortunately it is still possible to access some of these.

The organisation was registered as a charity for librarians in 1924.
