New Statesman launches New Media Awards 2005

The New Media awards draw attention to ingenuity, modernisation and accessibility in the field of new media technology, and several of its categories are open to non-profit organisations.
There are eight awards in the New Media Awards 2005:
- Contribution to civic society award
- Modernising government award
- Elected representative award
- Education award
- Community and information award
- Advocacy award
- Accessibility award
- Innovation award

You can nominate your own project, but the organisers have said: “we would particularly like to encourage you to nominate any other worthy candidates that have grabbed
your attention.”
The closing date for entries is 31 May 2005.
