London Triathlon 2005's three official charities named
Get Kids Going, Leukaemia Research, and The National Autistic Society (NAS) have been chosen as the official ‘Gold’ charities for The Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon 2005, the largest adult triathlon in the world with 8,500 entries last year.
The Michelob ULTRA London Tritathlon consists of a swim, bike and run, and takes place on 6 – 7 August 2005 at ExCeL, Royal Victoria Dock. Top athletes, celebrities and fun runners all take part.
The official charities will receive Gold Bond Benefits from The London Triathlon. This includes the ‘Charity Ambassadors Scheme’ which encourages competitors to raise a significant amount of sponsorship for the official charities. The London Triathlon will also actively promote the official charities on all marketing materials, including their Web site and will direct all enquiries to the four charities after the closing date.

Nick Rusling, Event Director, The Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon, commented: “last year the event raised well over £1 million for charity and we expect this figure to expand significantly this year.”
