Stockholm Challenge Award 2006 now open
The Stockholm Challenge Award 2006, a pioneer among global information and communications technology (ICT) competitions, is now accepting project registrations.
The Award seeks to recognise innovative teams from all over the world who use ICT to improve living conditions and economic growth.
Projects compete in six categories and the winners will receive the Challenge trophies at the Stockholm City Hall, venue of the Nobel Prize ceremonies, in May 2006.

The Stockholm Challenge has run the award on a global basis since 1997, attracting over 3,000 projects. About 600 of them, covering areas such as tele medicine, education, public administration, environment, culture and economic development have been selected for their excellence by an international jury of experts.
