Grant Thornton to promote charitable giving to clients and staff

Howard Lake | 1 November 2004 | News

Business and financial advisers Grant Thornton have teamed up with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to promote planned, tax-efficient giving to charity.

Grant Thornton, the UK’s fifth largest accountancy firm, will encourage clients, partners and staff of the firm to open a CAF Charity Account. They will then be able to make regular, tax-efficient donations to their favourite charities.

As an incentive to Grant Thornton clients who give £1,000 or more into a CAF Charity Account, CAF will done one per cent of its standard deduction back into the account.
