Early success for another nude fundraising calendar
A nude fundraising calendar created by a group of Gloucestershire women to raise money for victims of the Rwandan genocide is already set for a second reprint.
The women have received hundreds of orders from around the world, including from Australia, within days of launching the calendar at a church service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the genocide and via their Web site.
The calendar, “Exposed 2005”, costs £10 and the initial print-run of 5,000 looks unlikely to meet demand. Since the printing costs were covered by sponsorship, the women say that every penny of sales will be donated to the Survivors Fund charity, Surf.

The women have secured a distribution deal with a book shop, and the calendar can be bought online at Amazon.co.uk.
