CFDG, the membership organisation for Charity Finance Directors, is celebrating the recruitment of its 1000th member, Keith Ward, Group Finance Director of the City and Guilds of London Institute.

From its formation in 1987 CFDG has grown to become an influential body in charity, accounting and government circles. It has members in three regional groups as well as its main London based membership. Being a member of CFDG can lead to many things. One former chair of the Group is now working for the Barbados Heart Foundation, another is about to take up his post as Chief Executive of the Charity Commission and a third is a Charity Commissioner and Chair of the SORP Review Committee.
