Oxfam tests online affiliate fundraising

Oxfam has launched an online affiliate programme, offering to pay Web site owners £17 for every valid registration they can deliver.

Deal Group Media will manage the affiliate programme for Oxfam. Cookie length is 30 days with post pmpression Cookie length of seven days, so Web site owners can earn income from visitors who don’t make an instant decision to register on the Oxfam Web site.

This is Oxfam’s first venture into online affiliate schemes. While the initial offer is £17 per valid registration, Oxfam adds that “a tiered structure will be introduced soon”.

Oxfam is offering a limited range of four similar banner ad creatives at the launch of the scheme, together with a text ad. All the ads are the same size, and there is no Flash option.
