Children's Society uses e-mail for face-to-face donors

Howard Lake | 17 July 2004 | News

The Children’s Society is using e-mail for the first time to communicate with donors who have been recruited though face-to-face fundraising.

The message was sent to 7,000 donors thanking them for their support and encouraging them to continue their support. E-mail was used because the charity’s research had identified this as a popular communications tool for face-to-face donors.

Created by creative agency aia, the message featured the story of Mandy, a young girl whom the charity had helped after her mother died.
