Tour operator doubles its challenge event destinations for 2005

Fundraising challenge event company Discover Adventure is doubling the number of destinations available for its Open Challenges in 2005.

The new trips are an Everest Base Camp trek, the Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle ride, the Mount Kilimanjaro trek, and the Great Wall of China Trek.

The company, which has been running trekking and cycling trips since 1994, launched its first open challenges in 2003. They say that the events “require no upfront financial commitment and have been introduced specifically as a no-risk option for charities who do not have the time or resources to commit to recruiting a minimum number of participants for their own personalised fundraising challenge.”
