Parenting Fund Web site launched with application details

The new Parenting Fund has launched its Web site which includes information for voluntary sector organisations interested in applying for grants.

The new Parenting Fund Web site offers detailed ./guidance notes about the aims and operation of the fund, as well as application forms for grants.

The Fund, which will be officially launched by Margaret Hodge, Minister of State for Children, on May 10 2004, is designed to boost the work of voluntary sector services in England that support parents.

Details of organisations that are eligible to apply for grants, and the criteria under which grants will be awarded, are available in the ./guidance notes. All applications must be received by 5pm on Friday July 30 2004.

A telephone helpline will be available from 4 May at 020 7212 6644.

The National Family and Parenting Institute (NFPI) was selected as Fundholder for the Parenting Fund earlier this year by the Dfes.
