Howard Lake | 7 April 2004 | News

Pilotlight is a charity that recruits business high-fliers to donate their skills to charities to create strong, sustainable organisations.

Pilotlight, founded in 1996 by Jane Tewson, a co-founder of Comic Relief, helps small charities in the London area that are tackling the deep-rooted problems facing disadvantaged people in innovative ways. To be eligible for support charities must have a turnover of between £200,000 and £2 million. Selected charities must commit to working with Pilotlight on the basis of an agreed three-year operating plan.
