CAF announces first New Family Philanthropy Conference
CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) has announced its first conference designed to broaden awareness of planned giving and share latest thinking among donors and their private client advisers.
The New Family Philanthropy Conference will be held on 18 May 2004 at the Institute of Directors in London’s Pall Mall. It is designed to provide an annual forum for all those engaged in philanthropy, from individual donors themselves, to those
who advise them including wealth management advisers, private client lawyers and accountants.
International leaders in the arenas
of finance and philanthropy will present at the conference, including Virginia M Esposito, President of The National Center for Family Philanthropy, Washington; Joe Breiteneicher, Chief Executive of the Philanthropic Initiative Inc, Boston; Dr Gabriele Roselius, Executive Director of the UBS Family Office Consulting Group, Zurich; and Walter Stresemann, Managing Director of MeesPierson Intertrust in Geneva and advisory board member of the European Association of Planned Giving.

Workshops and seminars throughout the day will focus on the role of the adviser and trends for giving among high net wealth individuals. There will be ./guidance on cross-border giving, presentations on some of the latest developments in venture philanthropy, and an examination of the tools for donors and advisers of charitable trusts and foundations.
Family Philanthropy is a specialist division of CAF which combines all relevant services required for family giving, including trust and foundation
administration, investment management, grantmaking and research.
