Donations via GiveNow.org exceed £150,000

The CAF/AOL UK giving portal GiveNow.org has so far handled over £150,000 in online donations to a range of charities.

Launched in July 2002, the Web site is the recommended online giving site for AOL UK users. Currently it does not levy charities any fees for handling online donations: AOL UK and AOL Time Warner Foundation have sponsored GiveNow.org to ensure charities receive all gifts without administrative deductions for the first £2 million raised or for a period of two years, whichever is sooner.
