Abbey publishes new charitable priorities for 2004

Howard Lake | 3 February 2004 | News

Building society Abbey National plc has just published details of its Charitable Trust’s new charitable priorities for 2004.

Abbey National’s grant-making turst has changed its charitable priorities: it has chosen to focus on nine key areas rather than spread its resources thinly across the whole of the UK.

The Trust supports local communities, particularly in those areas where Abbey has a significant presence, by supporting disadvantaged people through education and training, local regeneration projects which encourage cross community partnerships, and financial advice which helps them manage their money.
