Tip sheet on extending payroll giving schemes published

Howard Lake | 9 February 2004 | News

The Giving Campaign has developed a tips sheet for organisations that offer payroll giving to their staff but are looking to encourage more staff to take part.

Getting a company to set up a payroll giving scheme can be a major hurdle, despite the simplicity of operating such a scheme. But once established, the scheme will benefit from further promotion if it is to expand.

The Giving Campaign has produced a leaflet specifically to help in this issue.
The sheet is intended to show employers how easy it can be to promote the scheme using internal resources. Although aimed at employers, it can prove a useful tool for fundraisers themselves, and could prove a handy document to have with you when meeting with existing corporate supporters. Alternatively, why not link to it from the payroll giving or corporate supporter section of your charity’s Web site?
