Howard Lake | 9 December 2003 | News

Charities in Colchester are the best in the Home Counties at submitting their annual accounts on time, according to figures from the Charity Commission.

Seventy five per cent of registered charities in Colchester, Essex, succeeded in submitting their accounts on time. Colchester is UK Fundraising’s new home, so we’re pleased to find ourselves amid such an efficient voluntary sector.

At 74%, Tonbridge came equal second with Southend-on-sea and Redhill, slightly ahead of Bromley at 73%.
