More Web accessibility guidelines from RNIB

Howard Lake | 1 December 2003 | News

The Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) has launched a new resource to help and encourage Web designes to include accessibility techniques in their work.

The new Web Access Centre is aimed at Web and new media designers and gives practical advice about how to make their sites accessible to people with disabilities. Often, some major improvements in accessibility can be made with some seemingly small changes.

The site’s sections cover understanding accessibility, the case for accessibility,
implementing accessibility, checkpoints and techniques, case studies, and resources for further information.
