Flora spreads festive cheer to British Heart Foundation with on-pack promotion

An on-pack promotion of health spread Flora pro-active will benefit the British Heart Foundation (BHF) by raising funds and distributing BHF Christmas cards.

Each of the 500g packs of Flora pro.activ distributed during November will include a pack of five BHF Christmas cards, courtesy of Flora. Consumers will also receive a leaflet with the charity’s top tips on maintaining a healthy heart.

Flora will also donate 15p to the charity for every pack sold as part of its aim to raise £350,000, the company’s target as part of a year-long fundraising partnership with the BHF.

The month-long on-pack promotion is just one of many fundraising activities planned as part of the partnership, which aims to help improve the nation’s heart health. The fundraising was officially kicked off in September with the Flora Light Challenge for Women, in which the BHF and Flora joined forces with the Heart Runners Team, led by Nell McAndrew. This will be followed by other activities, including the Flora London Marathon, of which the BHF is one of the official charities.

Adrian Baty, Flora Brand Manager, adds: “We are hoping to raise over £150,000 for the BHF as a direct result of this new on-pack promotion. The Christmas cards are also our way of thanking our many loyal customers during the festive season, as well as reminding them of the importance of looking after their hearts.”
