Cats Protection launches vet surgery campaign

Howard Lake | 17 September 2003 | News

Cat welfare charity Cats Protection is placing cat care ‘take-one’ leaflets in 2,500 veterinary surgeries across the UK to increase awareness of the charity and offer free guides to cat care.

The leaflets, designed by TDA, will outline a selection of free guides ranging from how to treat and prevent parasites to moving home with your cat. Owners will be able to apply for as many of the guides as they like, raising the profile of Cats Protection and allowing it to expand its database with warm contacts for future fundraising campaigns.

“This campaign is a great way to reach cat owners and position Cats Protection as the expert in feline welfare,” said Cats Protection Chief Executive Derek Conway. “Providing the leaflets in vets’ surgeries gives the initiative enhanced credibility.”
