Institute of Fundraising seeks session proposals for Convention 2004

Howard Lake | 3 September 2003 | News

Time is running out to get session proposals in for the Institute of Fundraising National Convention 2004.

The Institute of Fundraising’s Convention Board is calling for presentation ideas to provide next year’s delegates with a diverse range of fundraising experience. If you have a story to tell then the Board would like to hear from you.

They are looking for presentations on all elements of fundraising such as communications, strategic planning, new developments, management, partnerships, professional development, local, regional, national and international case studies.

The Board is particularly keen to hear from people who have never presented at a conference before. “Don’t worry,” they say. “We will provide opportunities for you to polish your skills and develop your presentation.”

If you would like to be considered as a speaker on the 2004 Convention Programme download a proposal form from the Institute of Fundraising’s Web page. Completed forms should be sent to the Institute by no later than 17 September 2003.

We would link straight to the Convention page on the Institute of Fundraising’s Web site but it’s still a frames-based site so you wouldn’t be able to navigate off that page. So, here’s a link to the home page. Follow the link on that to the Convention. (It’s a graphical link without an ALT text tag, so if you’re using a screen reader you’re probably going to find it rather difficult…)
