Big Issue Foundation launches DR adverts for regular giving

The Big Issue Foundation this week launches the first of a new series of direct response advertisements in the Big Issue magazine, asking readers to commit to a regular donation to enable people to escape homelessness for good.

The advertisements, created by agency TDA, thank readers for buying the magazine and show them that a committed gift to the Big Issue Foundation can fund services like IT training or help putting together a CV.

Sarah Miller, Head of Fundraising at The Big Issue Foundation, said: “People who buy the magazine like the idea that they are helping the vendor directly. This campaign will show how a regular donation will enable the Foundation to provide additional support.”

TDA say that these are the first in a series of new direct response fundraising initiatives for the foundation.
