Giving Nation reports results
Following last month’s first G-Week celebrating giving by young people, Giving Nation have announced their first year’s results.
Giving Nation, the campaign to encourage young people to give time, money and skills to help others, has been running for a year and has announced some preliminary results.
Its resource pack for teachers has been ordered by more than one third of UK
secondary schools. Its Web site has had “more than 20,000 unique visitors”, although it is not clear over what period. The campaign has also secured support from
celebrities, MPs and “other key opinion formers.”
