Broadcaster BSkyB’s youth roadshow this week included a final free date in the company’s own local community in Isleworth.

After visiting 16 cities in eight months, BSkyB recently provided an extra free date of its youth roadshow Reach For The Sky (RFTS) On Tour for the company HQ’s local schools and for children of Sky employees who might wish to participate.

This year’s roadshow follows the success of last year’s pilot, which enabled over two thousand young people nationwide to experience and participate in taster workshops in the worlds of Journalism, Media, Drama, Music and Dance.

The roadshow is jointly funded by broadcaster BSkyB and The Learning and Skills Council, and is delivered by national youth charity Weston Spirit.

Reach for the Sky is Sky’s flagship initiative for young people. All its community-based projects are focused on encouraging young people to achieve their potential.
