WDM says ‘there’s no point giving to charity’
Campaigning organisation World Development Movement (WDM) has released a cold mail pack to 50,000 potential supporters with the message “there’s no point giving to charity…”
The pack has been sent to test new lists. Produced by agency Blue Frog, the pack was developed from the creative of an insert that WDM has been testing since the Spring.
Jonathan Dearth, WDM’s Head of Supporter Development said “It’s a provocative creative aimed at active thinkers. Unlike other organisations, we can’t rely on people supporting us just because we’re a well known brand. The creative is strong to engage people with our work, by asking them to think about how they may be currently donating. We’re saying that we’ve got the answer.”
