Breast Cancer Campaign says 'wear it pink'

Howard Lake | 25 May 2003 | News

The Breast Cancer Campaign is encouraging people to wear pink to raise funds on 31 October 2003.

The British Heart Foundation is encouraging people to wear red in June 2003 to raise funds. If that’s not quite your colour, then you could always wear pink a little later in the year for the Breast Cancer Campaign.

The charity piloted the ‘wear it pink’ campaign in October 2002 and raised over £30,000. This year it has launched it as a nationwide campaign with a target of at least £140,000. It has already secured corporate support from stain removal experts Vanish.
