Waterstone's chooses its charity of the year

Specialist bookseller Waterstone’s has selected the Dyslexia Institute as is its charity for 2003.
There is a clear link between the two organisations in terms of encouraging and enabling people to read and reach their full potential.
There are a number of activities planned at both national and local levels. These will include the installation of donation boxes in all Waterstone’s branches; the production of a free guide book for parents with children who have learning difficulties; and the donation of funds raised from the sale of Christmas Cards.

During Dyslexia Awareness Week (October 27 – November 1) there will also be special events planned between the Institute’s Centres and their local Waterstone’s store.
