Scottish charity WebTrust.org.uk has updated its Gift Aid software based on user feedback.

It has been released under the new name of ‘Gift Aid Administrator’. The system helps manage a charity’s Gift Aid scheme, keeping track of donations made, identifying where Gift Aid declarations are required, and printing out Inland Revenue approved forms.

You might recall Gift Aid 2002 from IT for Charities’ Top 10 Free Software Applications for Charities 2002, featured on UK Fundraising.

Gift Aid Administrator now features an automatic installation routine which “will simplify and speed up the processing of your standing orders too”, say WebTrust.org.uk.

Webtrust has received funding from the Community Fund so is able to provide this software, which could retail at £100, for free to any registered charity. It does however make a charge of £10 to cover P&P.
