Getting Started with TikTok: An Introduction to Fundraising & Supporter Engagement

Welcome to the new UK Fundraising

Howard Lake | 1 May 2003 | News

UK Fundraising has been overhauled to offer a range of new services for charity and non-profit fundraisers.

The new layout of UK Fundraising is designed to help fundraisers find relevant information and resources faster. If you read a news item about trust fundraising, for example, then in the side columns you should find information related to trust fundraising. This could include job vacancies for trust fundraisers, books on trust fundraising, suppliers who offer services to trust fundraisers, and training events to fundraisers. We’re sure you’ll find this context-sensitive approach a useful timesaver.

If you don’t have time to come back every day to find out what’s new, then we can keep you informed with a daily or weekly e-mail alert. Even better, you can choose to be alerted to the fundraising areas that matter to you, so that you don’t get bombarded with every new item we publish.

We’ve now fully integrated the FundUK discussion group, now part of the UK Fundraising Forum, into the Web site for the first time. You can now discuss all aspects of fundraising and share questions and expertise with hundreds of fellow fundraisers and consultants in the Forum.

The site’s information remains available at no charge to users. However, to use some of the facilities such as e-mailing a page to a friend, viewing news items older than seven days, or receiving e-mail alerts, we ask you to register. As always we never give or sell registered users’ data to anyone else.

Registered users can also suggest news items, books and training events through their profile page. They can enter the data themselves straight into the UK Fundraising site, although we do of course reserve the right to edit or not to publish submissions.

There are more services to be introduced of course, not least the site search facility that we know you’ll want and need. This is top priority at the moment.

Do explore the new site. We hope you find it useful.
