SANCTURease piloted by animal shelter

Howard Lake | 11 March 2003 | News

SANCTURease, the animal adoption and re-homing software database previewed on UK Fundraising in October 2002, is being piloted by the Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

The software enables the shelter effectively to manage and better use the extensive amount of information created when an animal passes through the Shelter.

Created by Cheltenham based JA Computer Solutions Ltd, the software records details of the source of the animal, its condition on arrival, special medical and feeding requirements, initial medical details, observations, assessments and notes. It can also link up with JA Computer Solutions’ CHARITease product, which enables charities to record donations and Gift Aid.

Alan Owen, Managing Director of JA Computer Solutions, said: “We have worked very hard to keep the retail cost of SANCTURease below £1000.00 with full installation and training included.”

The pilot scheme is due to end in March, after which the system is expected to be available nationwide.
