Top 10 free software applications for charities

IT for Charities has published its list of the top 10 free software applications for charities.

The list includes a fundraising database, anti-virus sofware, firewall software, Gift Aid management, encryption software, PDF creation software, and free javascripts. Most are not designed specifically for charities, but IT for Charities says that “they are all amongst the most useful applications you can use which are completely free”, a price which should be appeal to many charities.

Not content with a top 10, IT for Charities have added a further five free Web tools which it thinks could be very valuable to charities.
