The National Trust and four other charities have teamed up to use the Web to promote employee volunteering.
Online collaborations between charities, especially in fundraising and related activities, is still uncommon. The National Trust’s partnership with RSPB, BCTV, the Wildlife Trusts and YHA is therefore to be welcomed.
Via a section of the National Trust’s Web site, the charities publicise the need for employee volunteering and explain the benefits. The site has received funding from the Active Community Unit.
The site gives case studies, a directory of opportunities, and a guide to getting started.
