Philanthropy UK reports Web site problems

Howard Lake | 15 October 2002 | News

The organisation set up to promote new philanthropy such as the creation of new foundations is having difficulty updating its Web site.

Philanthropy UK director Theresa Lloyd today apologised for the difficulties caused. The organisation has not been able to upload its newsletter and associated papers and guidelines. “We have already had complaints about

the non availability of the latest newsletter”, she admitted. The most recent newsletter available from the site is the June 2002 issue.

The problems have, however, prompted the organisation to investigate “the long overdue improvement of the site and upgrading it to a more effective means of information and communication.” The new site should go live by the end of the first week of November.

In the meantime, anyone wanting a copy of the newsletter is asked to request it from PhilanthropyUK at th**********@************uk.org.
