Issues raised included the disappearance of selfless giving amid the rise of charity affinity programmes, the involvement of celebrities with charities, and the need for transparency and trust in charities.

The presenter said that the programme would return to the issue again this week.

The You and Yours Web site features links to the speakers’ organisations Web sites, plus that of the Institute of Fundraising. Unfortunately it quoted the old Web address at www.icfm.org.uk.

The programme is transmitted from 12.04 to 13.00 on weekdays.
