Supplier of UK’s ‘first collecting box’ listed on UK Fundraising’s suppliers’ directory

N&P is the latest company to be listed on UK Fundraising’s suppliers’ directory.
The company has been making bespoke and regular charity collection boxes for over 60 years. Michael Press, the current director, says he can “proudly claim that my father supplied the first ever collection box in the U.K.”
The company still manufactures and designs hand-held, bucket-sized, and bigger collection units. He admits that graphic design and labelling are “often supplied as a free service” to assist in a one-stop shop “to save charities time and money.”
N&P provide services to large and small charities. They provided 500 of some of the biggest collection boxes they’ve ever made (2m high with a 60cm diameter) to the NSPCC in 1999.
N&P chose to be listed on the new version of UK Fundraising’s suppliers directory because their previous listing worked so well. Michael Press said that UK Fundraising had given their Web site “a successful global exposure, generating customers from the USA and Europe as well as the UK.” He added: “UK Fundraising generates around 30 enquiries a month for us, and we convert over half of these to paying customers.”
