National Autistic Society receives donated office furniture

American software company AXS-One, headquartered in the UK in Watford, has donated large amounts of office furniture to The National Autistic Society (NAS).
Donated office furniture and equipment is a popular requirement among many charities, but it can be difficult to acquire what you need. The NAS benefited because of a personal link between its work and a family member of the donor company’s senior staff.
Richard Keeble, Client Services Manager for supply chain management solutions company AXS-One, has a ten year old son with Asperger Syndrome (the high functioning end of autism) and so felt the NAS was the obvious choice when the furniture became available.

The NAS are benefiting not only at HQ in London but also at services in Manchester and Neath. Donations include a new reception desk, 37 office chairs, a projection screen and 11 large shuttered filing cabinets.
