NSPCC gives donors online donor account service

Howard Lake | 2 September 2002 | News

The NSPCC is to allow its 780,000 donors the ability to track their donation history to the charity via the Web.

The system, which has been compared to online bank accounts, launched last month. It allows donors to update their records and state how often they wish to receive mailings from the charity. They can state whether they wish to be contacted by telephone and/or e-mail, and they can even alter the amount they give by direct debit.

Donors using the system will be able to access a statement detailing their giving to the NSPCC over the past 12 months. Lapsed donors will also be able to use the system to reactivate their support for the charity.
