Workwithus.org accepts online donations for Scottish charities

Scottish voluntary sector portal Workwithus.org is accepting online donations for any Scottish charity that wishes to use the service.
Workwithus.org says that there is no cost for using the service and only bank charges are applied. For credit cards, a bank rate of 2% of each donation applies and for Debit Cards 25p per transaction. This means that for a donation of £100 a charity would receive £98 if it were given by credit card £99.75 if it were given by debit card.
The site encourages and allows donors to make their donations by Gift Aid.

Indeed the service allows donations to any UK charity, not just those in Scotland.
Workwithus.org is encouraging charities to add a button to their Web site. Unfortunately the buttons are less than compelling, bearing the Workwithus.org logo and the words “Donate online.” The system of creating customised links to particular charities’ online donations page is, however, very good and clear.
