Legacy campaigns must be culturally sensitive
Legacy fundraisers need to adopt a more culturally sensitive approach, argues legacy expert Richard Radcliffe, in order to secure legacy income from a wide range of ethnic and cultural groups.
Radcliffe, chairman of legacy consultants Smee & Ford, will present research supporting his contention at next week’s Institute of Fundraising convention. For example, he states that “first generation Muslim men will generally not write wills, relying instead on their son to carry out their wishes.”
