Open source portal software for local authorities

APLAWS is a new open-source Web content management system developed for local authorities.

The free system allows them to implement portal-style information services. The system has adhered to Web standards for navigation, metadata, interoperability, and accessibility, and its developers claim that it is “fully e-GIF [Government Interoperability Framework] compliant.”
